In a recent post I showed how real estate prices are beginning to slightly increase, after a long decrease from 2007 to 2014.

In some regions, foreign buyers are clearly taking advantage of that, to buy cheap before prices go up.

Malaga, and Andalusia – international buyers

Foreign buyers were 14% of the market in Andalusia in Q3 2017, but 30% of the market in Malaga province, according to the latest available official data (Registradores).

Quite interestingly, the average purchase by an international buyer was quite low, at 119 548€ in Malaga as you can see below:
