Property portals, also know as real estate websites, are vital to market your properties.

Here are the most important French real estate websites:

So these are the most consulted property websites in France. Notably, LeBonCoin bought AvendreALouer in 2017. The same year, SeLoger acquired Logic-Immo.com.

The profile of French buyers

During 2018, French buyers purchased 4,800 Spanish properties. This represented 7,4% of the 65,500 properties bought by foreign buyers in Spain.

French buyers paid on average €1,768 per square meter. The average mortgage was €174,356. Only a third of the French buyers (32.7%) bought properties larger than 100 square meters.

The Belgians represented the 4th most important nationality of foreign buyers in Spain with 6.3% of foreign purchases in Spain in 2018, with 4,100 transactions. One more nationality: the Moroccans. With 4,81% of total sales to foreigners, they represented 3145 purchases in 2018 in Spain. Two more nationalities counting many French-speaking buyers: the Algerians with 869 transactions (1,33% of 65,400) and the Swiss, with 627 transactions (0,96% of 65,400).

Cumulating the Belgians, the Moroccans, the Algerians and the Swiss, we get to 8741 transactions.

So, when you think about marketing your properties to French buyers, think about French-speaking buyers. Instead of addressing a market representing 4,800 transactions per year, you will be addressing a market representing 13,541 transactions per year.
