Stay Home Save Lives

The Chief Executive Officer of Nexity, Jean-Philippe Ruggieri (51 years old) died of the COVID-19 on the night of Thursday April 23 to Friday April 24.

In 2019, Nexity’s turnover was 4.5 billion euros. It is the largest property developer in France.

“With deep regret and great sadness, Nexity was informed of the death of its CEO, Jean-Philippe Ruggieri, last night at the hospital where he was treated after being infected with Covid-19. The thoughts of the management and employees of the Group go out to its husband, children and loved ones.”

On April 15, Alain Dinin had taken over as CEO of Nexity (Challenges), in what all hoped would be a temporary measure. This very sad news reminds us of how important it is to respect the lockdown, in what will be known in History as The Great Lockdown crisis, affecting people’s lives as well as the economy.
