ImmobilienScout24 was re-branded into ImmoScout24, in 2019. The website allows users to Buy, Rent, Sell. But also check real estate prices, and find a real estate broker.

Number 1 website in Germany for Real Estate

Traffic Estimate

ImmobilienScout24 is the number one website for real estate in Germany. Indeed, its closest competitor is Immowelt which receives less than twice its traffic. Therefore ImmoScout24 is a clear leader with close to 40 million visits per month (Similarweb).

Company Valuation

In January 2019 I wrote on ForeignBuyersWatch about a €5 billion valuation (see analysis). The impressive figure is that Scout24’s valuation had gone from €2 billion to €5 billion in just over 5 years, from 2013 to 2019.

Since that analysis, two big things happened:

1. Scout24 takeover offer by Hellman & Friedman, Blackstone failed (May 2019)
2. Scout24 agreed to sell AutoScout24 and Finanzcheck for $3.2B to Hellman & Friedman (Jan. 2020)
