ImmoScout24

ImmobilienScout24 went under a massive rebranding in 2019. Its logo and brand is now ImmoScout24, and not ImmobilienScout24 anymore. Say bye to orange and dark blue, and say hi to a flashy green.

More importantly, the brands ImmoScout24 and AutoScout24 don’t looke as similar as they did before, due to this redesign (see more). The other big news, is that Scout24 sold AutoScout24 to Hellman & Friedman for 2.9 billion euros ($3.2 billion).

Immowelt

The year 2019 was also a big year for Immowelt, as Axel Springer announced the takeover of Immowelt Group (AIM Group). Therefore, Immowelt now belongs to Axel Springer, specifically to AVIV Group.

The AVIV Group combines the digital activities in real estate, car and generalist classifieds in Germany (Immowelt), France (SeLoger, Logic-Immo, Car&Boat Media), Belgium (Immoweb), and Israel (Yad2). The group also holds Axel Springer’s minority participations in companies such as Purplebricks, Homeday or Zumper.

Immonet

Immonet is the other big online marketplace for real estate. Actually, it is very much linked to Immowelt, as “Immonet GmbH” became “Immowelt Hamburg GmbH” in 2017.

Govesta

Govesta is a relative newcomer, interesting to mention as their business model is different. Indeed, they offer real estate agencies something quite powerful, a cost-per-click model, driving users from Govesta (aggregator) to real estate agencies’ websites.
